Most of my friends are from or currently live in New York.  A large number of that group reside in this little place called Murray Hill.  

Oh!  You’ve heard of it!  Great.  Yep.  The place with the Yuppies, tons of Tasti Delite.  Cheap Eats?  Tons.  Glad your memory is as good as mine.

Anyway, there is this place, often a sweaty drunk vortex called Joshua Tree there.  Early in the week the place is famous for its American Idol themed talent shows.  Then on weekend the door line snakes around the sidewalk.  

In Boston, we have a similar establishment.  Larger, and this one, two stories.

Spoiled.  I know.

If you are looking for a sweaty, drunken mess head to this place near BU (Allston).  There is dancing, socializing and good ol’ bro-ness.  Just make sure you pregame.  Beers though are a nice $4.50, not the NYC price of…God…don’t make me remember.

Oh, and I found a Viking Hat Souvenir last night.  It’s sitting right by me now and I love it.
